The CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 Brought to Life

CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000
It isn't very often that we have a full system come through our labs here at Legit Reviews. When we do though, we like to give it a solid run through. Now that some of the dust from the Intel "Sandy Bridge" has settled, we can take a look at a custom built system from our friends over at CyberPower PC. If you aren't familiar with Cyberpower PC, here's a quick little blurb about their goals and mission!
CyberPower, Inc. was founded with two simple goals in mind. It is to provide our customers with both personalized cutting edge technology at wholesale prices and an extensive range of technological support. By being the manufacturer and the distributor, we are dedicated to meet your personalized desires with the highest performance for all your gaming and digital media solutions.
The system that we have today is the CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000. The CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 features the latest and arguably greatest Intel Processor, the second generation Intel Core i7 2600K processor. The quality doesn't stop at the processor, though. In order to drive the high resolution of the monitors out there today, Cyberpower configured the CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 with an EVGA Superclocked NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570. These features are just the tip of the iceberg, though. All of the components used in the CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 are top of the line products.

From the 1600MHz Kingston HyperX down to the ASUS P8P67 Pro motherboard, nothing has been left out and nothing has been skimped on!
CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 Intel 2600K Overclocked CPU
The CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 that was sent to Legit Reviews has the Intel Core i7 2600K overclocked to 4.4GHz. If we have learned anything since the release of the "Sandy Bridge" systems, 4.4GHz is a very conservative overclock these days. While it may be conservative, it's still incredibly fast. Not to mention it was rock solid throughout our testing.
CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 Windows System Rating
Just for entertainment purposes I fired up the system window in Windows 7 Home Premium to check out the Windows Experience Index of the CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000. While 5.9 isn't a bad Windows Experience Index, it is a bit misleading. Fortunately, we can dig a little bit deeper and find out what is holding the CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 back!
CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 4000 Windows System Rating
Well, it's not exactly a surprise that the lowest score for the Windows Experience Index is the hard drive. Traditional hard drives seem to be limited to a score of 5.9. If you were to custom configure this system with a SSD for a boot drive your base score would undoubtedly be significantly higher. As we mentioned above, the Intel Core i7 2600K processor is overclocked in our test system to 4.4GHz and only scores a 7.6 which happens to be the same score as the Kingston HyperX 1600MHz memory. The EVGA GeForce GTX 570 maxes out the Windows Experience Index with a score of 7.9.
